Popular dating app Tinder has released an update, enabling users to add their employment and educational achievements to their profile.
The update, which lets potential matches to judge each other on more than just looks and a witty bio, will draw in the information from the user's Facebook profile.
The idea behind the new Smart Profiles is for Tinder users to make more "informed choices," before applying that all important left or right swipe.
Tinder will then use that information to highlight what paired users have in common when they pop up in each other's feed.
So, Tinder theorises, if you work in the same profession or went to the same uni, for example, you might be more inclined to spark a conversation.
"With the updated algorithm, machine learning technology assesses and interprets the signals sent by our millions of users," wrote aptly-named CTO Ryan Ogle on the company blog.
"With our ears even closer to the ground, we provide users with the most relevant potential matches to result in more meaningful connections."

Meanwhile, the update could see a rise of the Tinder gold-digger, seeking a partner with plenty of cash.
Doctors and lawyers can probably expect their Super Likes to go way up after updating to the new app. Tech journalists? Not so much.
Traffic wardens would probably be advised to withhold that information from their profile altogether.
Tinder says it expects the update to mirror the effect of the Super Like, "which has increased the quality of matches and lengthened conversations," Ogle said.
