Whenever I'm asked to name what I think are the best types of home-based businesses someone can start that will – one, not take a lot of time to set up and two, has a low cost start-up rate – blogging is always on my list. But those aren't the only reasons why.
The reason why blogging would make a great home-based business is because of the flexibility that comes with it. Unlike a "regular job" that requires you to fulfill a certain number of hours a week and punch a time clock or login to track those hours, you decide when and how often you want to work.
Not only that, you get to share your expertise and experience about your niche with visitors. And if you're consistent in working your blogging plan, you can even make a decent income out of it.
Sounds great, right?
There are literally hundreds of niches you can blog about. But if there were ever a niche that could give you the best of both worlds, I'd have to say blogging in the travel niche would be it. You literally get to travel the world and make money doing it.
I tell yah, if I didn't have a fear of flying I would so jump at the chance to be a travel blogger! But I do so here I am.
The one pushback about blogging is that most folks think you have to have great writing skills to become a blogger. Don't believe the hype, dear reader. All you need is to have a passion for what you're writing about and a willingness to go through the journey and endure the bumps on the road along the way.
If starting a blog sounds good but you're wondering how to start a money making travel blog with little to no experience, fret not – I have something for you.
How to Start a Money Making Travel BlogThe one thing I truly admire about the blogging community is their readiness to help a fellow blogger – especially new bloggers. You only have to do a quick search for travel bloggers and you'll find bloggers who not only share their travel tips and adventures but they share their tips and tricks so that you too can become a successful travel blogger.
One blogger in particular is Jessie Festa of Jessie On A Journey. She has created a two hour video tutorial that will show how you can to set up a travel blog and monetize it.
I took a look at what Jessie's webinar has to offer and I'm really am digging this tutorial. She not only takes it step by step, which is great because you can learn at your own pace that way, but she also shares her personal secrets to success.
And here's what else you'll take away from this webinar tutorial. She'll cover:
Once you've got your blog set up, Jessie is also available for one on one consultations. This is important for bloggers who have little to no experience and need guidance until they feel ready to fly on their own. Her consultations includes a free critique of your new blog, discussions about what your next steps are for your blog and a list of contacts who work with bloggers for advertising and paid article opportunities.
If you're still not convinced this webinar would benefit you, check out what people have said about her tutorial. Click here to read client testimonials.
