7 Ways to Turn Your Blog Into a Money Making Machine

If turning your blog into a source of income sounds like a dream come true, you are not alone.

Every day, people all over the world create new blogs and websites, hoping to turn their hobbies and interests, into profitable income streams. Some of the bloggers do incredibly well. They become well known in their community and earn enough money to quit their nine-to-five job.

Most bloggers start making money with their blog by using an ad network like Google Adsense.

This method of monetization is dependent on how much traffic you're getting and what are the CPM rates.

Once you get your account approved by Adsense, you can simply insert the code in your website and Adsense will do the rest. It works well with most blogging platforms.

For this to work, focus on:

  • Optimizing your page for SEO so that you can benefit from the organic traffic.
  • Creating high-quality content that gets shared on social media.
  • Reaching out to influencers and try and get them to link to your articles or share it on social media.

    Once your blog is consistently bringing in traffic and you've built a decent sized mailing list, you can start selling advertising space directly to your advertisers.

    Put together blog details, such as daily, monthly, and yearly traffic, and details about your target audience, a nd reach out to the advertisers in your industry.

    #3 Add Affiliate Links to Your Posts to Earn Residual Income

    When you start out as a blogger, you may not want to invest time and money in developing your own product.

    Using affiliate links to generate income is a good way to get you going and build your audience at the same time.

    Many companies and programs, like Amazon Affiliates, offer a percentage from every sale resulting from one of your affiliate links.

    You can also reach out and enroll in the affiliate programs of the influencers in your industry. That will help you generate income and build a relationship at the same time.

    This is the fastest way to get started and you don't need a huge audience for this.

    You'll need to try and experiment a bit with some or all of these to see what best fits your blog audience and yourself.

Making money from your blog isn't always easy, but if you're patient, persistent, and do your research, you can make a nice secondary income.
